MvdH began with a personal desire for a considered wardrobe: beautiful pieces that feel natural to wear and remain relevant beyond a single season.

Founded by Swedish designer Mimie von der Heyden, the collection brings together Scandinavian simplicity, European influences and the ease of life in Dubai. Her years living in different countries have shaped a sensibility grounded in clean lines, subtle detail and understated elegance.

With a background in fashion and studies at Condé Nast College, Mimie approaches each design through the relationship between fabric, form and the woman wearing it. Pure, natural fabrics sits at the heart of MvdH, with silk taking centre, chosen for its movement, texture and ability to feel both effortless and expressive. Sculptural silhouettes and sheer layers bring dimension to a restrained, neutral palette.

As a mother and founder, Mimie is drawn to clothes that move comfortably between the different moments of a woman’s day. Her vision is personal: pieces with presence, made to be worn in your own way, returned to often and kept for years.
